Red delight

You can not see me in a dress very often, I have to confess. But this Marchesa dress from last fall's collection makes my heart sing! BTW, don't try to match up red shoes and purse or you'll look like a bridesmaid. And that's Ok in case you have a wedding to go to:)

Priznávam, mňa v šatách tak často nevidieť. Moje srdce však piští od radosti pri pohľade na tieto "červienky" z minuloročnej kolekcie značky Marchesa! Len tak na okraj, červené šaty, kabelka a červené topánky vyzerajú spolu dobre len na družičke. A vtedy radím zohnať si do zásoby aj nejakú tú svadbu:)

I would like to introduce you my friend Christine. She certainly has style, loves vintage, loves dressing up and going out all glammed up. And what I really like about her is the confidence which makes it even more believable. You know some of the clothes women wore back then are amazing. They could be sexy, alluring, beautiful and it didn't matter if it was casual of more formal wear.They truly can make one feel special. Sometimes I wonder what has happened and how great it would be to see more women all dressed up and beautiful on the streets again.

Rada by som vám predstavila moju kamarátku Christine, ktorá má štýl, ktorá zbožňuje všetko, čo je vintage a úplne najviac zo všetkého sa rada vyoblieka a vyčančá. Čo mám však na nej najradšej je jej sebavedomie. Keď sa nad tým zamyslíte, šaty, koré ženy nosili kedysi, boli jednoducho úžasné. Boli sexy, zvodné, krásne a nezáležalo pritom, či sú na denné nosenie alebo na večer. Žena sa v nich cítila jedinečná. Niekedy rozmýšľam, čo sa stalo a aké by to bolo skvelé, keby po svete chodilo takto vyobliekaných viacero z nás.

Narodila sa v Paríži, vyrastala v Orleans. Moje srdce si získala filmom LaVie en Rose. Marion Cotillard je krásna a jej módne cítenie je dokonalé. Nech si oblečie čokoľvek, vo všetkom vyzerá sofistikovane. Uhladene a šík. Akoby bez námahy a veľmi žensky. Jednoducho skvelé!

Hat on!

I always thought that I would never, ever wear a hat. I even had a pact with my friend. And here we go, I've just bought a fedora hat. Hats have moved beyond being a 'bad hair day' cover-up and are now a stylish accessory regardless of season. One thing to remember: whatever happens, they will be the focal point of your outfit, so try to make the rest simple.

Vždy som si myslela, že si klobúk akéhokoľvek druhu na svoju hlavu nedám. Dokonca som o tom mala i nepísaný pakt so svojou kamarátkou. A hľa, prednedávnom som si jeden kúpila. Klobúky totiž prerástli z maskovacieho prostriedku do štýloveho doplnku, nezáležiac pritom na ročnom období. Jednu vec si je ale dobré zapamätať: nech sa deje čokoľvek, klobúk je automaticky centrom pozornosti, preto zvyšok outfitu udržujte jednoduchý.

White blouse

Personally, I am not a big fan of the crisp white shirt or blouse. But because it's a closet essential, every woman should own one. Good news: you can find more and more white shirts with modern feminine twists, fresh detailing, bows, ruffles, asymmetry and pleats. Hurrah!

Ja osobne nemusím veľmi bielu košelu alias blúzku. Ale kedže je to jeden zo základných kúskov dobrého šatníka, nemala by chýbať žiadnej žene. Dobrá správa je, že dnes sa už dá pozháňať blúzka s moderným a ženským tvistom, mašlami, volánmi, asymetrickými prvkami či riasením. Huráááááááááááá!

Len pre dámy: Áno. Vaše topánky nemusia byť rovnakej farby ako vaša kabelka. Alebo nebodaj opasok. Predsa len, keď sa pozriem na moju neznámu, plesám od radosti. Táto zladená dokonalosť na mňa pôsobí veľmi sofistikovane, čisto a zároveň uvoľnene...Letne.

I've already admitted my big crush on suspenders. There is no doubt that suspenders worn the right way can look very modern and cool. But what about " a belt with suspenders"? How would you like to transfer an innocent looking dress to editorial perfection?

Raz som sa už priznala k svojej láske k trakom akéhokoľvek druhu. Som totiž presvedčená, že ak sa nosia správne, pôsobia moderne a cool. Ale čo také opasko-traky? Ako by sa vám páčilo dokázať za ich pomoci premeniť nevinne vyzerajúce šaty na editoriálovú dokonalosť?

Skutočnosť, že vyzeráte štýlovo, nemá nič spoločné s vekom. Je to o schopnosti načúvať vlastným inštinktom a vybrať si z obrovského množstva to, v čom sa cítite uvoľnene, prirodzene a sebavedome. Je to o tom, ako dobre poznáte svoje telo. Predstieranie akéhokoľvek druhu je zlé, a nezáleží pri tom, ktoré narodeniny po sebe oslavujete. To, či na sklonku dňa vyzeráte šik, no zároveň primerane svojmu veku, závisí len a len od jedinečnosti vášho osobného štýlu.
