Welcome to Barcelona! I like this Elle France editorial because of all these neutral colours mixed with bold prints. And beacuse I love that stunning necklace in the second last picture. I have a similar looking one. It's really heavy and I think my neck secretly hates me everytime I wear it but it is such a statement piece. It can easily transform simple or boring outfit to something dazzling.

Vitajte v Barcelone! Tento editoriál z francúzskeho Elle sa mi nesmierne ľúbi, ako sa pohrala stajlistka s neutrálnymi farbami a výraznými vzormi. A tiež ten skvostný náhrdelník z predposlednej fotografie. Mám podobný. Je strašne ťažký a mám preto podozrenie, že môj malý krk ma za to nenávidí. Ale keď to je taký majestátny kúsok. Jednoduchý a nudný outfit sa vďaka nemu dokáže premeniť na oslnivý v zlomku sekundy.

Now this is more like it!!! SJP was a show-stopper in black McQueen gown and Philip Treacy hat at the London premiere of Sex and the City 2 (and I promise this is the last time I am talking about SATC2). Also beautiful Kim Cattrall in a vintage black Thierry Mugler, Cynthia Nixon in a green Narciso Rodriguez (although I would love to see a bit bolder accessories) and Kristin Davis in a vintage Norman Norell gown.

Tak toto je už iná káva!!! SJP bola dych vyrážajúca v McQueenovi a klobúku od Philipa Treacyho na londýnskej premiére Sexu v meste (a čestné iskričkovské, že toto je posledný krát, čo spomínam Sex v meste 2). Ako inak, než krásne boli Kim Catrall vo vintage Thierry Muglerovi, Cynthia Nixon v Narciso Rodriguezovi (aj keď podľa mňa by to chcelo oživiť nejakými výraznejšími doplnkami) a Kristin Davis v róbe od Normana Norella.

Turban Love

It's not my fault! You should blame Prada for this one! And Kate Moss. And Patricia Field! - So those are my excuses when it comes to buying a turban. My man is not really enthusiastic about that one. And I understand. I know a turban might work on the catwalk and not as much in the real world but what can I say, still want one. It fascinates me.

Môže za to Prada! A Kate Moss! A ešte aj Patricia Field! - Tak to sú moje ospravedlnenia pred mojím chlapom, ktorý akosi nezdieľa moje oduševnenie pre turbany. Nečudujem sa mu. Je pravda, že turban vyzerá lepšie na prehliadkovom móle, ako v reálnom živote. Ale čo už narobím, keď ma tak fascinuje.

One of the most-anticipated red carpet events of the year is here! The premiere of Sex and the City 2. So what were the ladies wearing? Sarah Jessica Parker looked really sexy in her blond hair and asymmetrical Valentino yellow chiffon gown, Cynthia Nixon opted for more subtle dress by Carolina Herrera (loved her strawberry blonde hair!), Kristin Davis really stood out from the crowd in pink Jean Desses gown and Kim Cattrall gave us a bit of old Hollywood glamour in the gold Naeem Khan dress and her elegant waves.

Jednou z najočakávanejších udalostí roka bola bezpochyby premiéra filmu Sex v meste 2. A ako sa teda na ňu dámy vyobliekali? SJP vyzerala sexy v blond vlasoch a krikľavožltej asymetrickej róbe od Valentina, Cynthia zvolila jemnú Carolinu Herreru (jej jahodovo blonďavá farba vlasov ma úplne dostala!), Kristin Davis vyčnievala z radu v ružových šatách od Jean Desses, nuž a Kim mi vo svojej zlatej róbe od Naeem Khan a vlnám pripomenula glamúr starého Hollywoodu.

Although I prefer silver, gold looks a bit more glamorous. And it works nicely with this beautiful sunny weather. Go for more modern, unexpected feel and pair it with cream, white or other light colours (maybe even khaki) or just for a touch of gold as an accent.

Aj keď ja osobne preferujem striebro, zlato pôsobí o niečo viac glamúrovo. A hodí sa k tomuto krásnemu slnečnému počasiu. Volila by som moderné, menej očividné kombinácie zlatej s krémovou, bielou či inými svetlými farbami. Prípadne s farbou kaki alebo len ako jemný akcent.

Skvostný drahokam... Tak nejako to vidím pri pohľade na tento hodvábny kabátik s ručne našitými flitrami v tvare kvetiniek. A asi nie som jediná, kedže sa za cenu 495 dolárov vypredal za menej ako 24 hodín.

Freckles

There is something quite beautiful about a smattering of freckles across the nose and under the eyes on a woman. I have only like three freckles on my nose but I love and treasure them. Who knows, maybe they will procreate one day.

Podľa mňa je nadherné, keď má žena pehy voľne roztrúsené na nose a pod očami. Ja mám asi len tri pehy v strede nosa, o to viac si ich pestujem. Ktovie, možno sa jedného dňa rozmnožia.

These very lovely and womanly looking Nina Ricci heels remind me of all the flowering trees we can see everywhere these days. Although I really can't imagine walking in these, with your heel exposed like that.

Tieto Nina Ricci topánočky mi veľmi pripomínajú, ako to tu všetko navôkol krásne kvitne. Aj keď si neviem teda, či sa s takouto otvorenou pätou dá v nich vôbec chodiť.
