It looks like someone here has a new crush! (And yes, I really love blue colour, hehe) Denim shirts are so popular these days. You can wear them with everything, mix and match in every possible way. There are no rules! Personal favourite combination? Blue denim shirt with khaki pants.

Už to tak vyzerá, že som sa opäť raz zaláskovala. A teraz nebude reč o NEJAKEJ modrej farbe, ale o modrej rifľovej košeli. V ženskom prevedení. Momentálne obľúbená masami (ľudí). Fajné je, že ju môžete nosiť naozaj so všetkým, pravidlá totiž v tomto prípade neexistujú! Moja osobná naj kombinácia? Modrá rifľová košeľa a khaki nohavice.

Men in Blue

I'm quite attracted to men wearing the color blue and there is so many shades to choose from! Although lightblue dress shirt is my absolutely favourite. Did you know? According to Leatrice Eiseman, Director of the Pantone Color Institute, guys who frequently wear blue are "stable, faithful, constant and always there". Apparently, the blue guy is a great candidate for "a long-term relationship, he is dependable and can match his own clothes" (that's quite an important asset to have, don't you think???). And yes, I can confirm all of this. At least when it comes to my man who literally lives for blue.

Nalejme si čistého vína - som paf z mužov, ktorí sa obliekajú do modrej. A nezáleží na odtieni. Aj keď svetlomodrá košeľa je môj jasný favorit. Podľa Leatrice Eisemanovej, riaditeľky Pantone farebného inštitútu, muži nosiaci často modrú sú stabilní, verní a vždy stoja pri vás. Sú vraj výborným partnerským materiálom, dá sa na nich spoľahnúť a dokážu si sami zladiť oblečenie (to je ale dôležitá vlastnosť, nemyslíte???). Mimochodom, môžem všetko potvrdiť. Aspoň v prípade môjho chlapa, ktorý na modrú nedá ani len dopustiť.

I can't help wondering why she dresses the way she does. Flamboyant and wild. She never wears the same outfit more than once in public and hasn't left her house without a hat since the 80's. Anna has been a writer and stylist since the 1960's working predominantly with Vogue Italy producing over 7000 editorial pages. Forget Benjamin Moore, SHE is the queen of mixing colours, prints and textures!

Sem tam dumem nad tým, prečo sa Anna Piaggi oblieka ako sa oblieka. Nápadne a divoko. Čo jej asi beží hlavou. Nikdy nemala na sebe ten istý outfit dvakrát a bez klobúka na hlave neodišla z domu zhruba od začiatku 80.tych rokov. Anna je spisovateľkou a stylistkou od roku 1960 a preslávila ju predovšetkým práca pre taliansky Vogue. Pod jej vedením vyšlo viac ako 7000 editoriálov. Oh, these Marloes Ten Bohmer shoes are both provocative and otherworldly. They have this amazing cutting edge construction techniques that are closer to design and architecture than women’s fashion. I don't think I would wear them but I would definitely use a pair as a stunning piece of home decor.

Óh, tieto topánkule od Marloes Ten Bohmerovej sú provokatívne a akoby z inej planéty zároveň. Spôsob, akým sú vyrobené je unikátny a pripomína skôr dizajn a architektúru ako ženskú módu. Na nohy by som si ich asi nedala, ale kľudne ako súčasť dekorácie do bytu.

Known for his luxury creations, Eddie Borgo's Fall ad campaign stars Elle's style editor Kate Lanphear. I love it and think it's a great balance between edge and elegance, much like Lanphear herself.

Známy pre svoje luxusné výtvory, Eddie Borgo si pre jesennú kampaň vybral za modelku Kate Lanphear z americkej Elle. Vytvoril tak skvelú rovnováhu medzi vyhrotenosťou a eleganciou, presne tým, čo je tak typické pre Kate samú.

Couture Fashion Week is all about extremes so it was no surprise that the always eclectic style of J.P. Gaultier wasn't missed from this year show: models holding cigarettes, puffing smoke rings on the runway, fur bra cones or the high-rise turbans on almost every head. Very Parisian. Waw.

Couture Fashion Week je najmä o extrémoch, takže nikoho neprekvapili kreácie vždy eklektického J.P. Gaultiera. Tentokrát to bolo najmä o modelkách s cigaretami v ruke pofajčievajúcimi počas predvádzania na móle, o kožušinových podprsenkách v tvare kornútkov, ale i o vysokých zakrútených turbanoch. Také ala Parížanka. Waw.

Yes, they may look funky but what I find interesting is how designer Bernhard Willhelm's signature designs have interpreted recycled and eco-friendly materials into wearable art.

Ej veru, nedá sa poprieť, že tieto sandálky vyzerajú netradične a funky. Čo ale zaujalo mňa je spôsob, akým Bernard Willhelm vytvoril z recyklovaného a ekologického materiálu hotové umelecké dielo.

"Happy, happy fashion - there is not much more to it than that." Marc Jacobs

Mademoiselle Agnès aka Agnès Boulard who works for french channel Canal+ and her seasonal TV show "Habillées Pour (Dressed for...)" are my favourite during Fashion Weeks season. I love Agnèse's hoarse voice, her sense of style, her sense of humour. The only condition when choosing what to wear is that her outfit should make her want to dance in front of her mirror:) It's refreshing to see someone who doesn't take fashion so seriously. I attached a video from her F/W 2010-2011 show; you can find the rest here.

Mademoiselle Agnès, inak aj Agnès Boulard, a jej televízna šou "Habillées Pour (Oblečená na...)" vysielaná sezónne na Canal+, v ktorej Agnès sprevádza Fashion Weekmi, patrí medzi moje najobľúbenejšie. Milujem jej chrapľavý hlas, jej módny štýl, jej zmysel humor. Pri obliekaní sa riadi jediným pravidlom - všetko, čo si na seba oblečie, ju musí primäť k tancovaniu pred zrkadlom:) Je naozaj osviežujúce vidieť niekoho, kto neberie módu tak seriózne. Born in August, Coco Chanel was a Leo. And I am sure if she was still alive, she would love this collection. Rather than waiting behind a curtain, the models walked out of a giant pearl held under the paw of a golden lion. It was majestic, powerful, luxurious, opulent. It was Chanel Haute Couture.

Narodená v auguste, Coco Chanel bola znamením lev. A nepochybujem o tom, že ak by stále žila, bola by z kolekcie nadšená. Namiesto spoza bežného závesu či steny modelky vychádzali na mólo z obrovskej perly, ktorú strážila socha mohutného leva zo zlata. Bolo to kráľovské, honosné, silné, luxusné. Bol to Chanel Haute Couture.
