I really didn't like this collection. This is NOT Valentino, this is not what "The Last Emperor" wanted to tell his public about his point of view on fashion, style and class. And this is not sober or delicate, it's just boring. Really well made, as Valentino's dressmakers are simply superb, but boring.
The only dress that I liked is the white and plain one, which is absolutely gorgeous, but the rest of the collection has really no sense to me.
These are just my 2 cents, of course.
Btw, I really like your blog and the fact that your comments are never general and obvious, but personal and precise.
