I have to say, I am smitten by Jessica Chastain as well as Diane Kruger and my all time favourite Marion Cotillard. How about you, who did you like on the red carpet so far?

Na filmovom festivale v Cannes uspejú len tie najúžasnejšie, dych a zrak vyrážajúce róby. Fotografie toho najlepšieho z červeného koberca si môžete pozrieť tu. Musím povedať, že tento rok som unesená všetkým, čo si na seba obliekla Diane Kruger, Jessica Chastain a samozrejme i moja obľúbená Marion Cotillard. Prehľad toho najlepšieho z Cannes si odo mňa môžete prečítať na Webnovinách. A čo vy, nejaká srdcovka?

Beautiful Skin

Back in December I was introduced to an online skincare company called SIMONE FRANCE. I don't really do beauty reviews but I just couldn't resist. SF is the renowned French-born skin care expert whose products have cared for some of the world's most beautiful faces: Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Iman, Kirsty Hume, Amber Valetta and Elle MacPherson. (So now you see why I couldn't reists?) I told them about my skin concerns (I have struggled with dry and sensitive skin for most of my life) and my daily routine, and they sent back a detailed product recommendation and step-by-step instructions together with all the products. I have been using their products for about 4 months now and I confess that I often get lazy with my skincare, but I’ve definitely seen the results that come from consistent use with products that work for me. And SF is one of them. At least during winter. The daily moisturizer is a bit greasy now but there are different types available. The only thing I wasn't sure about is their disposable cloths. It just feels like a lot of uncessary waste. I find rinsing my face off with water works just fine. But overall, thumbs up!

Ešte v decembri ma oslovila kozmetická značka SIMONE FRANCE, aby by som vyskúšala ich produkty a napísala hodnotenie. Ako viete, takéto testovačky robím na blogu naozaj len veľmi zriedkavo, ak vôbec, ale po tom, ako som si prečítala, že do ich portfólia starostlivosti o pleť patria Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Iman, Kirsty Hume, Amber Valetta a Elle MacPherson, súhlasila som. Podrobne som im opísala svoju dennodennú rutinu a to, čo ma trápi ohľadom mojej pleti, mi poslali celú radu produktov na čistenie a hydratáciu s podrobným postupom, čo a ako. Sú to 4 mesiace, čo používam SF a hoci som už vyskúšala množstvo kozmetických značiek, táto patrila medzi tie, ktoré ma potešili svojimi výsledkami. Moja pleť, ktorá je najmä v zime suchá, dehydrovaná a citlivá, sa naozaj vschopila a už po niekoľkodňovom používaní bolo vidieť rozdiel. Momentálne je pre mňa krém na tvár príliš mastný, ale v zime splnil svoju úlohu. Jedinú vec, čo by som vytkla sú utierky, ktorými som si mala zotierať tvár. Každý deň som by som tak vyhodila minimálne dve do koša, a to sa mi zdalo zbytočné. Umytie tváre rukami fungovalo rovnako dobre a nevytvárala som zbytočný odpad. Ale ako celkové hodnotenie palec hore pre Simone France!

Jedenásť rokov uplynulo odvtedy, čo sa v kinách objavil film Amelié s Audrey Tautou v hlavnej úlohe, a ešte stále patrí medzi najobľúbenejšie francúzske herečky. Má talent, ambície, a najmä to povestné je ne sais quoi. Vždy hrá osobnosti s silným charaterom, vraj hlavne preto, že sa tak sama aj vidí. A taká by chcela ostať aj naďalej.

Denim On Denim

Denim paired with denim is one of the hottest fashion trends for summer and it looks like it will stick around for a while. The rules for wearing head-to-toe denim have changed. So be creative and remember:
1. Choose different shades of denim 
2. Choose denim in different weights and washes
3. Choose different proportions. 

Denim od hlavy po päty slávi svoj návrat medzi módne trendy a vyzerá to tak, že medzi nimi ostane nejaký čas. Jediné, čo sa zmenilo, sú pravidlá, ako ho nosiť. Stačí trošku kreatívnosti a snaha zapamätať si nasledovné:
1. Kombinujte rôzne odtiene denimu
2. Kombinujte denim v rôznych hrúbok a odtieňov
3. Kombinujte rozdielne proporcie denimového oblečenia.

Oh Audrey... I admire women who can pull off a crisp white suit. If you want to wear white but fear looking washed out, remember the word 'accessories'. Just don't match shoes, bag, belt and top, or you will look like from the 1950s. TIP: Best accessory ever? Red lipstick!

Áááách Audrey... Kľaniam sa každej žene, ktoré vie nosiť biely kostým. Ak si to chcete vyskúšať aj vy, odporúčam obohatiť outfit nejakými doplnkami. Len nelaďte zase všetko dokopy - topánky, kabelku, opasok, prípadne i top, inak budete pôsobiť ako zabudnutá v rokoch 50tych. TIP: Úplne najlepší doplnok: červené pery!

P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N! No frills here: vintage t-shirt, acid-wash jeans, retro messanger bag and the hat. Sometimes, it doesn't take much to look great. Less is more. In this case for sure.

D-O-K-O-N-A-L-O-S-Ť! Bez nejakých zbytočností: vintage tričko, vyšúchané džínsy, kožená retro kapsa a klobúk. Niekedy je menej jednoducho viac.
