Men In Style

It's that time of the year again! While the fashion shows in London, Milan and beyond were showing the best of the upcoming collections for men, it seems the men on the street looked pretty damn stylish themselves. ...blue, grey or black, doesn't really matter. As long as it's ripped. There are no limits to how you can wear it. From light wash jeans with gaping knee holes to abrasions in a denim jacket, the possiblities for adding a few rough edges to your look are endless!

...modré, sivé či čierne, hlavne, nech sú roztrhané. Recept na to, ako nosiť diery na džínsovine, hádam ani neexistuje. Či sú to diery na kolenách alebo vydreniny na bunde, možností ako zdrsniť svoj look je naozaj neúrekom!

I don't think there was ever a time when I'd be more obsessed with colorblocking and mixing different colors together as right now. I wish there would be some kind of summer version of Santa so I can ask for these Louis Vuitton and Giuseppe Zanotti cuties.

Nemyslím si, že by bolo obdobie, kedy by som bola tak posadnutá mixovaním a nosením rozličných farieb dokopy, ako práve teraz. Až by som si želala, aby existovala letná verzia Santu, nech ho rovno poprosím o tieto krásne (Louis) Vuittonky a (Giuseppe) Zanottky.

Meeting Rodarte

Rodarte (or how I like to call them "The sister act") is the fashion brand created in 2005 by Kate and Laura Mulleavy, very talented and oh so humble sisters. Back in May, I was lucky enough to meet them both at The Bay’s The Room while celebrating their Fall 2012 collection. And as great as the fashion shows are, to see their amazing work up close and talk to them about their inspiration was just indescribable. Thank you!

Rodarte, alebo ako ich ja rada volám Sestry v akcii, je značka, ktorú v roku 2005 založili Kate a Laura Mulleavy, dve talentované a zároveň veľmi skromné sestry. Tento rok v máji som mala to šťastie stretnúť obe na oslave ich jesennej kolekcie, ktorú exkluzívne predstavili v Toronte. Poviem vám, že tak, ako je úžasné sedieť na módnej prehliadke, tak sa nedá slovami opísať to, keď si veci môžete popozerať zblízka a zároveň sa s nimi porozprávať o tom, čo ich pri práci inšpirovalo. Ďakujem!

Some of most trendy styles of swimwear this season are tribal prints, pastels, neons and retro fits. My personal favorite right now is the retro inspired swimwear. The entire look can be pulled together with a pair of large sunglasses, a wide straw hat, and a pair of wedges.

Keď ide o plavky, medzi najvýraznejšie trendy pre toto leto patra jednoznačne kmeňové potlače a vzory, pastelové farby, neóny a retro štýly. Mimochodom, práve retro plavky sú momentálne moja srdcovka. Ak sa pre takéto plavky rozhodnete, nezabudnite i na veľké slnečné okuliare, slamený klobúk a na nôžky sandálky na platforme.
