I apologize for my lack of posts recently. I am swamped with work. On another hand, both you and my blog are very important to me. So here is the solution. I am adding a new rubric called CHIC AFFAIRS. It will be pictures only and not much text. Those who follow me for a while now know, that I don't post just anything. I always look for the pictures that are inpirational. Beautiful. Speak for themselves. And I hope you'll keep coming back:)

Veľmi sa ospravedlňujem za to klesajúce množstvo článkov, ktoré tu v poslednej dobe píšem. Mám toho strašne veľa, čo musím dokončiť, no na druhej strane tento blog a vy ste môjmu srdcu najbližší a nechcem vás zanedbávať. Preto ponúkam riešenie v podobe novej rubriky CHIC AFFAIRS. Budú to väčšinou len fotografie, prípadne niečo málo textu. Tí, ktorí ma sledujú dlhšie vedia, že ak si na niečom dávam záležať, tak je to výber fotografií, ktoré uverejňujem. A ani teraz tomu nebude inak. Bude to vždy fotka krásna, inšpiratívna, taká, čo hovorí za seba a je otvorená snívaniu a fantazírovaniu. Tak dúfam, že sa budete i naďalej radi vracať späť.

Že vraj žltá farba vštepuje optimizmus, energiu a zároveň je zdrojom pre kreatívne myslenie. A veruže niečo na tom bude, zrazu mi totiž napadla jedna kreatívna myšlienka: nevyhnutne potrebujem nový pár topánok!!!

Karl Lagerfeld's vision of the Chanel bride for Fall/Winter 2012 include a massively feathered jacket, oodles of petticoats and tiers of tulle. Karl Lagerfeld closed the Chanel Haute Couture show with an over-the-top wedding dress and Lindsey Wixson as "his" his bride.

A ešte raz k Haute Couture... Nevesta podľa Karla Lagerfelda pre sezónu jeseň/zima 2012 má na sebe masívny kabát z bieleho peria, jej svadobné šaty tvoria kvantá spodničiek a vrstvy tylu a volá sa Lindsey Wixson.

Paris Haute Couture

Remember niqab scene from Sex and The City 2? Well, it seems to me the veil could be celebrating a comeback. Sort of. Not sure how you can translate this runways trend into a real life. After all, we are living in the age of people being obsessed with fries and ketchup.. :) Plus there are some other Haute Couture trends that are much easier to wear like jumpsuits and florals. 

Pamätáte si scénu so závojom zo Sexu v meste 2? Tak to už vyzerá, že závoje oslavujú svoj veľký návrat. Aj keď si neviem dobre predstaviť, ako by sa tento trend z prehliadkových mól uchytil v skutočnom živote. Koniec koncov, žijeme v dobe, keď sú ľudia priam posadnutí hranolčekami s kečupom:) To už sa viac oplatí vyskúšať ďalšie z Haute Couture trendov: kombinézy a kvetinové vzory. A New Era For Christian Dior

Raf Simons just showed his first ever women's collection under the Christian Dior name. The floral idea found its way into the new A/W 2012 Haute Couture collection as Simons known for minimalism used dramatic colour and delicate workmanship to revive Dior’s vision. There is no doubt the clothes were beautiful. It actually reminded me of Jil Sander, Balenciaga and the old Christian Dior. But I just can't help myself. I miss Galliano's Haute Couture, his dramatic and superior craftsmenship, the breathless extravagance... So what do you think about Simons' debut? You can see pictures of the collecion on my Facebook page.  

Raf Simons predviedol svoju prvú kolekciu ako nový kreatívny riaditeľ Dioru. Kvety si našli svoju cestičku do Haute Couture kolekcie na jeseň/zimu 2012, keď návrhár preslávený svojim minimalizmom za pomoci dramatických farieb a delikátneho vypracovania oživil staré tradície. Niet pochýb o tom, že to bola nádherná kolekcia. Trošku mi pripomínala kombináciu Jila Sandera, Balenciagy a Diora z mnohých rokov dozadu. A predsa si nemôžem pomôcť... na Haute Coutute, na ktorý som bola u Diora zvyknutá, mi to prišlo slabé. Chýbala mi Gallianova dráma, extravagancia a prepracovanosť, pri ktorej som ani nedýchala... When it comes to the Missoni SS 2012 shoes collection, despite the multitude of colors combined in a single design, the overall impression seems to be one of surprising versatility. And they are cute. Definitely worth admiring. 

Keď je reč o topánkach Missoni, tie z jarnoletnej kolekcie na 2012 vyzerajú nesktočne verzatilne, a to i napriek toľkým farbám. A sú rozkošné. A vhodné obdivu.
