"Fashion has become a joke. The designers have forgotten that there are women inside the dresses. Most women dress for men and want to be admired. But they must also be able to move, to get into a car without bursting their seams! Clothes must have a natural shape." Coco Chanel
Cruel romance. Two words that Karl Lagerfeld used to describe his latest collection. Introducing CHANEL, Pre-Fall 2013. Scotland. 16th century. Decadence. Tweed. Knitwear. No heels. Lagerfeld's inspiration was a combination of Scottish history, specifically Mary
Queen of Scots, and Chanel heritage. Remember Coco Chanel who often stayed at the Scottish home of her lover the Duke of Westminster?
Believe or not, many of her own masculine-styled suits were inspired by clothes she saw
while on hunting parties in Scotland.
